CYC – 2008 Vice-Commodore’s Cup Regatta Invitational Race

NOTICE OF RACE: Sunday, May 25, 2008. To be held at CYC, 1 Shore Rd, New Fairfield, CT (next to Chatterton’s Marina)

RACE CLASSES: PHRF CRUISERS (non spinnaker), Flying Scots (separate start), Optimists (Junior Sailors)

TROPHY CLASSES*: Cruisers-Overall, Flying Scots, Carpi22, Catalina 22, Female Skipper/Crew, Sunfish, & Opti’s (Junior Sailors)

AWARDS: 1^{st, 2nd, & 3rd places}

Races: Three (3) races are planned (depending on wind, weather, & # of entrants) / Staggered Starts for each class

Schedule for the Day:

Boat-prep from 9:30AM till Race Time (we will make room at our docks for
non-members to arrive and participate in pre-race meetings)

? Pre-Race Brunch –
begins at 9:30AM- ($5.00 per person)

? Skipper’s Meeting
– Noon (for a briefing of racing rules and course layout)

? Race Committee Leaves
CYC – 12:30 PM

? First Race at 1 PM}

All Races will be conducted in accordance with the published CYC Racing Instructions, which can be viewed at (www.cycsail.org)

Members & Guests are also invited to stay for Dinner (BYOD)….as always grills and picnic tables are provided!
