Sailing Programs

Candlewood Yacht Club is planning on offering a sailing instruction program for this summer. This is for CYC Members only. If you are interested in becoming a member, please email membership@cycsail.org.

Summer Sailing Instructions for Children and Women in July 2010.
   Classes for children ages 8-14 will be offered July 26, Monday through Friday.
   Where: at the Club
              Time: 9:30 to 1:30
               Cost: $75 per child, checks made out to CYC
                        Eligible: Members child, grandchild, niece or nephew. Sorry no friends.
                        Payment needs to be mailed to Judy Spak by July 9 in order to confirm
   who will be taking the classes.
Women's Instruction:
   When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting July 6, ending August 5th
   Time: 6:45 pm til dark
   Where: at CYC, using larger boats, such as FS and cruisers.
   Who's eligible: Club members, as above
   Cost $ 75 per person.
PAYMENT FOR WOMEN'S INSTRUCTION MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE END OF JUNE.

Depending on the size of enrollment, classes will be divided into the following groups:

Ages 6- 13 (Optis)
Adults (Flying Scots-Cruisers)
Adults – women (Flying Scots-Cruisers)
